OF ZONAR 75B MK – proximity fuze
OF Zonar 75B - a proximity fuze (Prox) from a Swedish manufacturer designed specifically for the Archer system, using SGR77, ÖVNGR54-77 Z and M77 projectiles. It provides several ranges of fragmentation (HE), high-explosive, point-detonating high-explosive (PD) and delayed action. An air burst can also be set. Operation with other NATO-country projectiles is permitted.
The air burst is provided by receiving a signal reflected from the target: the fuze sensor is a variant of a radar, that is, a radio transmitter and a radio receiver are combined in one unit.
Protected against a 1.5 m drop, moisture-protected.

Fuze Setting
It has eight setting positions:
S - Transport position;
1F - High-explosive action with delay (Delay);
2F - Standard high-explosive action;
3Ö - Super-sensitive fragmentation action. Burst occurs at any touch. Useful for achieving an air burst over a tree line;
4Ö - Standard fragmentation action;
5Z - Air burst, 3–6 m above the target, for engaging personnel;
6Z - High air burst, 6–12 m above the target, for engaging personnel;
7Z - Point burst, for engaging armored vehicles
