Impact Fuze M15 UTIU (PD)
M15 UTIU is a mechanical artillery fuze from a Serbian manufacturer, with impact and delayed-impact functions. It is designed for use with 155 mm high-explosive fragmentation artillery projectiles.
Fuze arming is initiated by inertial and rotational forces at a safe distance from the muzzle. The striker and the detonator, located in the nose section, provide instantaneous action on impact (PD). The delay device with an inertia striker is located at the rear of the fuze and delays functioning of the fuze by 0.02–0.05 s.

Fuze Setting
Setting the fuze:
The fuze is screwed into the fuze socket of the projectile and tightened with a wrench.
To set the fuze:
- for impact action, the (SQ) position is the default position.
- for impact action with delay: use a special wrench or a flat screwdriver to turn the plunger slot to the “DELAY” position.
